Privlaka is a place in the region of Zadar. Privlaka is a tourist and fishing town of Zadar Riviera located on the large, flat peninsula. From Zadar is only 18 km, and from Nin 5.5 km distant. Only 8 km away, there is a tourist destination Zaton that offers various sports and recreational facilities. Locals are mostly engaged in fishing and tourism. History of Privlaka

Privlaka was mentioned for the first time in the documents in 1296 as wine-growing place. The name has changed through the centuries from Brevilaqua, Privilacha, Priulacha, to the name we know today.
